St Helens Homestead

Morgan and Pollard have been tasked with the exciting challenge of revitalizing the grounds of St Helens homestead as it enters a new chapter in its history. The garden comprises of acres of existing mature vegetation packed with horticultural splendour.

Our Landscape Architecture team has worked closely with the client to come up with an invigorating design solution that is sympathetic to the existing site features and underlying historic significance. Key design features include the location of new recreational facilities and utility buildings, opening up views to the house and mountains beyond, relocating the existing driveway and re-contouring of the lawn and rill ponds.

Implementation work is being carried out by our Landscape Construction division and stage 1 has just wrapped up for winter. This first stage consisted largely of extensive arboriculture work and vast site clean-up of the wildly overgrown garden. Come spring time work is set to commence for stage 2 and we look forward to continuing to offer our expertise and services in shaping this unique landscape setting in the future.
